A: Yes, you can see larger pictures by clicking here.
Q: Can I use the LUCID-Art if I wear glasses?
A: Yes, you can use a Camera Lucida if you wear glasses, but it may not work well if you have to wear trifocals. A Camera Lucida combines two images over each other: the image of the subject and the image of the drawing surface. So if the subject, say a bowl of fruit, is 40 inches away and the paper is only 20 inches away, then your eyes have to focus on both the fruit and the paper at the same time even though they are at different distances. This is easy for people with good eye-sight, but if you require bifocals, trifocals or progressive lenses, then your eyes might not be up to the task. Many with these issues might be able to use it, but it still would be harder to use and they would be limited in what they could do. They might still be able to work from photos (with the Photo Projector) or draw close objects, but they will not be able to draw landscapes or other distant objects.
Q: Will a Camera Lucida help me learn how to draw?
A: Yes, Drawing with a Camera Lucida will not only help you make accurate drawings, but it will also teach you to better see what you are drawing and help you to become a overall better artist.
